Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 13, 2026
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use our applications (the "Apps"). This policy applies to our suite of digital resources, including Zia ul Quran, Zia ul Quran Pro, and related applications.
1. Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect or store personal identifiable information (such as your name or address). However, we collect technical data and purchase-related tokens to ensure app functionality, stability, and premium feature access.
2. In-App Purchases & Billing
Our Apps offer in-app purchases (such as "Remove Ads" or Premium Subscriptions) via the Google Play Billing system. To provide these services:
- Purchase History: We collect information about your transactions (Purchase Tokens and Subscription Status) to unlock premium features and hide advertisements. This data is required for the billing functionality to work.
- Payment Processing: We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details. All financial transactions are handled securely by the Google Play Store.
3. App Performance & Diagnostics
To provide a reliable user experience, our Apps monitor technical health. Please note that data collection varies by application:
- Crash Logs & ANRs: We use standard Google Play Console diagnostics to monitor app responsiveness. For specific apps (excluding Zia ul Quran), enhanced crash reporting may be used to resolve bugs.
- Diagnostics: Technical information such as load times or device model to troubleshoot issues.
4. Third-Party Services
The Apps use third-party services for advertising and functionality. The specific services used depend on the app features:
- Google Play Billing: Used to process purchases and verify subscription status.
- Google AdMob: Collects device identifiers and IP addresses to deliver advertisements (where not removed by purchase).
- Google Play Services: Required for basic app functionality and security.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Used in our utility and pro apps to monitor crashes. Note: The Zia ul Quran app does not utilize Crashlytics.
- YouTube and Blogspot: May collect user data if you access embedded content within the Apps.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Technical data, purchase tokens, and advertising identifiers are processed by Google to provide their respective services (billing, ads, and analytics).
6. Permissions We Request
Permissions are requested only when necessary for specific features:
- Location Permission: Used solely for apps requiring geographical calculations (e.g., determining Qibla direction). Note: The Zia Ul Quran App and Quran Ultra App does not require or request Location permissions.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our applications are intended for mature audiences and do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Any updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
